Zeeland East graduate Ryan Meppelink recently competed on the world stage of heavy machinery work.
The Ferris State University student was a member of SkillsUSA national team in the WorldSkills competition in Kazan, Russia, from Aug. 22-27.
Team USA won the bronze medal at the competition featuring more than 60 countries. Meppelink called the experience “life changing.”
